Before we lived together in the basement, we were friends. I mean, we still are! In the midst of our "In the Sellwood Kitchen" years, the four of us took a road trip to Disneyland. The day after Election Day, I believe. What better way to celebrate a new direction for America than to head in the direction of Disneyland -- our Mecca.
We had a terrific time, without incident. Except for two instances of vomiting (once by a member of our quartet, and another time involving an unfortunate aroma at the McDonald's on South Harbor Blvd).
And Adam nearly murdered us when we missed the exit for an In-N-Out Burger on the drive home (thanks, Zac!). But he more than made up for it with this now legendary quote about a particular menu item at Schlotzsky's. Let's have a listen.
